简介：

　　同门师兄弟保生大帝（郑少秋 饰）与瘟君（淳于珊珊 饰）千年斗法，落败下风的瘟君唆使众神向玉帝告状，列举了保生大帝种种“罪状”，玉帝（王新民 饰）大怒，将保生大帝打入凡界，并交给他一个匪夷所思的任务，把一个品行顽劣的医官培养成一个名医，否则终生不许返回天庭。由此一来，保生大帝落魄为一民间郎中吴本，但医术高超、充满智慧的吴本赢得了渔家女三红（廖家仪 饰）的垂青，遭瘟君陷害被贬下凡的黑龙（王灿 饰）白虎（陈佳佳 饰）也与吴本结成同盟不离其左右。以害人为能事的瘟君在与吴本的博弈中惨败，也被玉帝贬为凡人，但他并不甘心就此收手……
