米勒的十字路口

　　阳光明媚的大阪府堺市，在业内名声不佳的古董商人小池则夫（中井贵一 饰）带着女儿真里（森川葵 饰）驱车穿梭在大街小巷之中。他按照命运的指点找到一户人家，与主人洽谈家藏古董的收购事宜。在一堆仿制品中，小池意外发现茶道大家千利休死前赠与他人并且在史册中没有任何记录的梦幻珍品。小池喜出望外，同时按捺激动的情绪，准备捡漏，却没曾想落入了穷困潦倒的陶艺师野田佐辅（佐佐木藏之介 饰）设下的古董局。正所谓不打不相识，这两个命运有着些许相似的男人一拍即合，决定联手杜撰利休的绝命珍品大赚一笔。
　　他们不仅要施展自己的才华，更要向混迹古董界的蝇营狗苟之徒发起挑战……

　　荷兰导演保罗·韦尔霍文首部进军美国影坛的中世纪传奇动作片，风格强烈而狂妄。男主角拉特格．豪厄主演霍文的《橘子战士》而成名，两人再度合作时已身价大涨。故事描述十六世纪时欧洲发生十字军东征，浪人马丁与一群乌合之众组成十字军四出攻城略地，爵爷曾答允在破城后让手下掠取财物二十小时，但其后食言，更下令军队围捕马丁。在爵爷之子史蒂芬与安妮举行婚礼时，马丁率众前来报仇抢走安妮。史蒂芬为了武士英名必须夺回妻子，但安妮却跟马丁日久生情，三角情欲使战火加速燃烧。美国女星珍妮弗．贾森．利在这部阳刚的暴力片中是红点，表现不俗。
　　导演简要：
　　Paul Verhoeven 生於荷兰的阿姆斯特丹，拥有数学及物理双博士头衔。服役期间，替荷兰皇家海军拍摄纪录片，退伍後在电视台担任导演工作，拍了一部深入的纪录片《穆瑟》。让他受到国外瞩目的是三部由荷兰制作的电影：Soldier of Orange (1979)、Spetters (1980) 及 The Forth Man (1983)。１９８５年，Verhoeven 利用美国资金执导第一部片Flesh & Blood，差一点被列为X级，两年後，进军好莱坞的Robocop，更让美国观众见识到激烈的暴力美学。十分重视创作自由他，必须确定片子不会在影片完成後受干预，而充满争议色彩的风格及处在剪刀边缘的尺度，使他成为美国电影界十分出色的荷兰藉导演。

　　《沙漠中的最后时日》讲述了由伊万·麦克格雷格饰演的耶稣在沙漠中斋戒40天，遭到恶魔蛊惑后，重新找回人性的故事，影片并非源自《圣经》，而是影片导演兼编剧罗德里格·加西亚想象出来的故事。值得一提的是，罗德里格·加西亚是已故文坛巨匠，《百年孤独》作者加西亚·马尔克斯的儿子，曾执导过口碑不俗的影片《雌雄莫辩》。

　　影片是改编自2016年韩剧《信号》的同名日剧的电影版。2021年东京，政府高官死于高速公路上失控的租车引发的交通事故。樱井率领的以三枝为首的长期未解决事件搜查组怀疑该事件是经过精心谋划的。2009年东京也曾发生过政务官相继死于交通事故的事件。当时警察都以意外事故对外公布，只有大山怀疑事件的真实性质。时间到了23点23分，不可能连上的无线通讯机竟再次鸣响！为了拯救有可能遭受生物恐怖主义威胁的日本，“现在”和“过去”的事件一起被卷入了更深的阴谋之中。而三枝和樱井是否能成功在现今遇见大山？

　　Magdalena and Maria are two twin sisters who were separated at birth and know nothing of the other’s existence.  Maria runs away from the boarding school in which she was brought up and finds work as a cabaret performer in the cafés of Marseilles.  Magdalena lives with her adopted parents and works in an art gallery.  The two sisters are joined by an invisible bond which draws them towards the same tragic conclusion.
　　Director Werner Schroeter has acquired a reputation as an experimentalist filmmaker, hailed by some as an underrated genius, reviled by others for being a peddler of self-indulgent kitsch.  Deux is arguably Schroeter’s most ambitious, unsettling and repulsive work to date.  The director certainly wastes no time in alienating his audience; from the first ten minutes of the film it is clear this is not going to be an easy ride.  The narrative cuts haphazardly between seemingly unconnected events, alternating between realism and stylised fantasy dream sequences, periodically shocking the spectator with graphic images of lesbian sex and a woman being slowly disembowelled.  Having several actors playing multiple parts only adds to the sense of artifice and utter confusion, which is a pity as there is manifestly a lot of great acting talent on show – not least of which is Isabelle Huppert.  The film’s sheer relentless grotesqueness and self-indulgence is so extreme, so unbridled, so stomach-churningly provocative, that it is hard to take any of it seriously.

　　The movie focuses on existing malpractices in country's education system, the whole concept of buying your way through education, jobs and earnings. Even with an evolving education system, the country faces scams like SSC and HSC paper leaks, m.ysgou.cc CBSE re-examination, Vyaapam, etc. The movie tries to shift the attention of people to understand the vulnerability of hardworking and gifted students who get left out.
